Audience will celebrate EID with Salman Khan starrer “Sultan” in theaters and with just few days remaining for the big release, the hype has reached its peak.
In 2014, Shah Rukh Khan‘s “Happy New Year” was released during the Diwali time frame and it went on to become one of the biggest blockbuster earning Rs 44.97 crores, which is the highest opening day box office collection. And now the trade is expecting that Salman‘s “Sultan” will break the “Happy New Year” opening day record.
With “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” shattering all the records and “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” became Salman Khan‘s 3rd highest gross last year, expectations have soared high thanks to the powerful teaser and first looks released by the makers of “Sultan”. “Sultan” has already created a huge buzz and since it is releasing during festive time, the film is set to take a good opening. The trade circles suggests a positive trend for “Sultan” at the box office.
If all goes well then, “Sultan” is likely to get the highest opening day box office collection, breaking the records of Happy New Year.
